A New Display Rig

I finally decided to buy a flat monitor for myself as a reward for working hard enough. It’s 19″ ViewSonic VA1912wb with 5 ms response time, one VGA port and one DVI port. The quality is pretty good. At the same time I also bought an apple keyboard too. I’m happy with my workspace now.

I heard people said widescreen monitors are only good for watching dvd on. If you use it to do some work, you may twist your neck ‘cuz your head has to pan at a very wide angle. :D

    Is that true?

kalyan: it’s 400 nzd. u should get one.
Kenno: i don’t think so. maybe it’s just a joke hehe. it’s just wider than normal screen but not very wide till you have to pan your head so much. you may just have to pan at most 5 degree or you can just roll your eye balls.
