Spicy Friday

It was just a coincidence that I got to drink a chili beer after having spicy food. After hours deciding which restaurant we (friends from Bisco and I) should go for dinner, we ended up in a Chinese restaurant in New Market. As I saw on the tables, it seemed like this restaurant’s specialty is spicy food. 2 of my friends put the order because they are Chinese and Taiwanese so they should know more than I do when it comes to Chinese restaurant. We ordered 3 dishes and it turned out that all dishes were super spicy. It wasn’t surprising for me though because my Cambodian friends and I used to have this kinda dishes almost every week in 2 years back. On the way back to our cars, we decided to drop by for some beers in a Mexican bar. They had a row of beers in the display in which most of them I have never seen before. I saw one beer looked quite different from other. I looked closer, it said “Chili Beer”. The coolest thing was it had green chilies in the bottle. Interesting, isn’t it? I always like to try new things all the time and I can’t help buying a product that has a nice/interesting packaging. Well, it wasn’t spicy at all hehe but it has a bit of chili flavor in it. It wasn’t too bad and I wanna try it more later.

Chilli dish and chili beer (can you see the green chili in the bottle?)
