Sigma 17-70mm
Gulf Harbor
After a friend of mine, Ith, bought a DSLR camera (Canon 400D), it kinda pulled me back to the photography world. I started looking for a new lens because I really wanted a nice walk around lens. I found this gorgeous sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 on BHPhotoVideo online shop. I knew I didn’t have much money to spend anymore but I couldn’t resist buying this lens.
I bought this lens like a week ago and I couldn’t wait to try it out but I didn’t have a chance to do so until the day before yesterday. I arranged a photography trip with Ith and Waz and it turned out that Girish came along as well. After meeting up at the hostel, we decided to go to Gulf Harbor. The weather wasn’t so good so we didn’t take many photos as we planned to. Sad aye. However, it was a fun trip after Girish volunteered to be a model doing some jumping actions which I will post later.

I haven’t really used the lens thoroughly yet but I’m quite happy with the lens especially the build quality. The only disappointment so far is the auto focus speed is quite slow.

Is that Sigma lens equipped with HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor)? If it doesn’t, then the focus is gonna be slow and noisy. HSM is similar technology as USM in Canon or SWM in Nikon lens.
I head this lens is quite good. Take more photos.

It’s not HSM bro. It’s not noisy but it’s just too slow sometimes

Except one thing-> why dose the person who stands next wearing the heck t-shirt?! I wonder where’s his mental status. How come he’s wearing that? person can be dumped but any kinds of material is precious, so keep using? wherever it’s from?..nonsense.

I don’t consider myself as a professional photographer. there’s alot more than this hehe.
Well, if you have some works for me, i’ll be glad to do it whether it’s a volunteer work or work with $$$
including photography and web design/development.
